Our Grant Programmes

Communities Together

Communities Together Small (grants of up to £5,000) has two rounds in 2026. Round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 12 February, decisions announced 30 April.

Communities Together Large (grants of up to £15,000) has one round in 2026, which opens on 19 February and closes on 9 April. Decisions will be announced on 25 June.

Environment and Sustainability Grant Programme

For 2026, round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 26 February, decisions announced 16 April, for grants of up to £15,000.

Projects for Young People

For 2026, round 1/2 will open on 12 February and close on 26 March, with decisions announced on 4 June, for grants up to £15,000.

Heathrow Active People Initiative (HAPi)

Our Heathrow Active People Initiative (HAPi) and Matched Funding programmes for Heathrow colleagues has two rounds in 2026, round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 19 March, with decisions announced 7 May.

Projects for Young People

Improve young people’s lives by increasing their resilience, raising their aspirations and breaking barriers to employment.

For 2026, round 1/2 will open on 12 February and close on 26 March, with decisions announced on 4 June, for grants up to £15,000.

Environment and Sustainability

Projects which improve the environment for the community, providing community green spaces or raising awareness of environmental issues, or improving the sustainability of community buildings.

For 2026, round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 26 February, decisions announced 16 April, for grants of up to £15,000.

Bring people together, improve inclusion into the community and find ways to care for nature and the environment in the area. 

Communities Together Small (grants of up to £5,000) has two rounds in 2026. Round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 12 February, decisions announced 30 April.

Communities Together Large (grants of up to £15,000) has one round in 2026, which opens on 19 February and closes on 9 April. Decisions will be announced on 25 June.

For Heathrow Employees Supporting Local Community

Heathrow Active People Initiative (HAPi)

Heathrow Airport Limited employees are encouraged to volunteer with charities and community groups in their local communities.

 

The Trust supports this with a grant programme awarding up to £2,500 to charities for projects involving Heathrow colleagues volunteering.

Matched Funding

Employees of Heathrow Airport Limited are also supported in their fundraising for charity by a Matched Funding scheme in which the Trust will match funds raised.
