Communities Together Grants

Are you working to boost the community spirit in your neighbourhood?

Do you have ideas for creating a community garden, starting an arts festival, tackling loneliness among older people, boosting health and fitness, or cleaning up the streets where you live?

 

If so, you could qualify for a community project grant. We offer two types of grants: small and large. 

Important

  • Please note that your project must start within 3 months of the decision date, but should not start until all grant paperwork has been finalised. 

  • Applications submitted before the round opens or after the deadline will not be eligible for funding. 

  • If any information is inaccurate, your application could be deemed ineligible.

  • Please consider the time you will need to complete the online form before the closing date deadline as late entries will not be accepted.

  • To apply, your group must have a constitution and a bank account that requires two signatures.

  • Before commencing any grant application, please read through our Grant Making Guidelines below.

Communities Together Small

  • The programme provides grants of up to £5,000

  • The Communities Together Small Grant Programme has two rounds in 2026.

Communities Together Large

The Communities Together Large Grant Programme has been set up to help groups working in the nine boroughs around Heathrow run projects that bring communities together, with an emphasis on organisations working with adults aged 25 and above, and no upper age limit.

 

  • The programme provides grants of up to £15,000

  • The Communities Together Large Grant Programme has one round per year.
