In 2026, Heathrow Community Trust will offer funding for up to two years for projects applying for more than £5,000 per year. Organisations may apply for single-year and one-off project funding up to our maximum grant value for one year. Applications for £4,999 or less must be for one year only.
Please note: we are revising our application forms for 2026. Please don’t start an application for funding before the round opens.
Communities Together Small (grants of up to £5,000 per year) has two rounds in 2026. For 2025, Round 2 decisions will be announced on 6 November.
For 2026, round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 12 February, decisions announced 30 April.
Communities Together Large (grants of up to £15,000 per year) has one round in 2026, which opens on 19 February and closes on 9 April. Decisions will be announced on 25 June.

Our Environment and Sustainability grant programme (grants of up to £15,000 per year) has two rounds in 2025. Round 2 decisions will be announced on 23 October.
For 2026, round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 26 February, decisions announced 16 April.

Our Projects for Young People grant programme (grants up to £15,000 per year) has two rounds in 2025. Round 2 decisions will be announced on 4 December.
For 2026, round 1/2 will open on 12 February and close on 26 March, with decisions announced on 4 June.

Our Heathrow Active People Initiative (HAPi) and Matched Funding programmes for Heathrow colleagues has two rounds in 2025. Round 2 closes on 23 October. Decisions will be announced on 18 December.
For 2026, round 1/2 opens on 2 January and closes on 19 March, with decisions announced 7 May.

Improve young people’s lives by increasing their resilience, raising their aspirations and breaking barriers to employment.
Projects which improve the environment for the community, providing community green spaces or raising awareness of environmental issues, or improving the sustainability of community buildings.
Bring people together, improve inclusion into the community and find ways to care for nature and the environment in the area.
Heathrow employees are encouraged to actively volunteer for charities and community groups working in their local communities, the Trust supports this with a grant programme awarding up to £2,500 to charities for projects involving Heathrow colleagues volunteering.
Employees of Heathrow Airport Limited are also supported in their fundraising for charity by a Matched Funding scheme in which the Trust will match funds raised.
