Are you working to reduce energy consumption, tackle climate change, boost recycling or create a nature reserve? Do you have ideas to make your community more sustainable? Are you encouraging wildlife back into your neighbourhood? If so, you could qualify for a grant from our Environmental and Sustainability Grants programme.

Grants of up to £15,000 for one year are available for groups including charities, voluntary groups, schools, colleges, local authorities and Community Interest Companies working in Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Slough, Spelthorne, Richmond, Runnymede, South Bucks, or Windsor & Maidenhead.

This funding programme has two rounds in 2023.  Round 1 opens on 19th January and closes on 23rd March.  Round 2 opens on 22nd August and closes on 24th October.  Each round closes at 10am on the closing date.

Please note, for applications to Round 1 the project must NOT start before the Board decision date of 11th May.  For applications to Round 2, the project must NOT start before the board decision date of 7th December.

To apply, your group must have a constitution and a bank account that needs two signatories.  Before commencing any grant application, you must read through our Tips document and Grant Making Policy document.
