Funding to support Heathrow employees in helping their communities

Are you a Heathrow Airport Limited employee actively involved with a voluntary group local to where you live? Does your group have an idea for example to promote health and wellbeing, connect Heathrow colleagues with their community, or support the local community? If so, you could qualify for a grant from our HAPi programme.

Grants of up to £2,500 are available to Heathrow Airport Ltd employees who are regular volunteers with non-profit organisations anywhere in the UK.

Before you start an application, please read our HAPi Guidance and Criteria. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your project, please call us on 01895 839916 or email us at hct@groundwork.org.uk. Please don't start the online application before the round opens. Applications can take some time to complete, so make you to allow enough time before the closing date as late entries won't be accepted. If any of the information is inaccurate your application could be deemed ineligible.

In 2026 there are two rounds of HAPi funding:

Up to a maximum of four colleagues can submit a joint application, eg for £1,000, if they have raised in excess of £2,000 between them for a particular charity. The fundraising must have taken place in the last 7 months before the deadline. Before starting your application, you must read through our Matched Funding Guidance and Criteria.
